My initials have been my nickname since high school. I'm an Art Direction Masters candidate at VCU Brandcenter. I enjoy surfing, swimming with sea turtles, collecting curios, and adventure travel. Voyages abroad include dancing with Mick Jagger in Australia, racing camels with Bedouins in the Middle East, flying to Hawaii 3 times on a whim to catch waves, and backpacking and volunteering in Latin America for 4 months. My other hobbies include studying art and photography, drinking dark beer, seeing live music in small venues, and Art Deco objects and architecture. Collections from this era include American Art Pottery, bakelite jewelry, and a working Rayette hair dryer. If you're looking down and wondering how small my feet are, I wear a size 13.5 - 1.5. Youth.
If you want to discuss the challenges of having child sized feet in an adult sized world or just say hi, feel free to contact me.
This is a photo illustration I made of my neighborhood in San Francisco, CA. The Mission, once largely comprised of Latin American families and many SRO hotels, is quickly becoming gentrified. The dichotomy between new money and poor, gritty and slick, strange and refined, is increasing at a rapid pace. It illustrates the significant cultural shift occurring citywide, which many longtime residents have mixed feelings about. I liked calling it home.
